With a modern, clean style and fresh, bright pallette, designer Gee Woods' latest ready-to-wear collection of engagement rings refreshes classic silhouettes and offers a graphic edge to wearable styles.
A modern solitaire design is found in 'Artemis', a unique shield cut white diamond set in 18k yellow gold, as well as 'Hebe', a round rose cut diamond set in a rubover setting - in fact no classic prong settings are to be found anywhere in the collection - with a hidden rim of tiny pavé diamonds only revealed when the ring is on its side.
Natural, untreated sapphires and aquamarines show their true colours in the more geometric styles 'Electra' and 'Siren', with pale but electric-bright hues shining through alongside white diamonds.
Top row, left to right: 'Artemis' £2995, 'Siren' £3395, 'Gaia' £3550. Bottom row, left to right: 'Electra' £2295, 'Eos' 1995, and 'Circe' £3995.
A collection for those looking for a twist on classic engagement ring designs - halo rings are updated using unusual cuts such as hexagon sapphires - as well as a bolder statement piece, Gee Woods' ready-to-wear designs are bringing some light into the dull winter London skies...
