About Emma Franklin
Emma Franklin studied at Central St Martins School of Art and Design and since graduating eight years ago she has focused on creating one-off designs of huge variety and high quality, specialising in engagement and wedding rings.
Specialising in luxury materials such as 18ct yellow, white and rose gold and platinum, a wide variety of designs can be produced from the very traditional to the extremely unusual. Emma finds herself with a reputation for creating Art Deco inspired pieces, using the metal to create structure and form, with stones complimenting the structure and enhancing the form – a rarity in modern jewellery design. She believes all points of a ring are as important as each other, often setting stones along the sides and base of a ring, with structural features inside and out. Diamonds, sapphires, rubies and emeralds are some of the precious stones Emma regularly uses to get the perfect colour spectrum for the client.
